In the Late Middle Ages (approx. 12th to 14th century), the Kogge was the defining symbol and technological backbone of the Hanseatic League. It was the quintessential standard merchant vessel and the ultimate workhorse for long-distance maritime trade.

The Kontor Air “Kogge” will be deployed on high-frequency routes catering to short-break leisure traffic to Berlin, Gotland, Saaremaa, and Lapland. A 1+2 standard seating configuration with up to 40 seats ensures a high yield factor on premium trunk routes to Stockholm Bromma and Copenhagen, as well as on trade fair flights to Germany and weekend getaways.
Upon request, the forward seating rows can be configured as Kaupmaðr Class (Kontor Light), offering an open adjacent seat and enhanced premium service.
Depending on demand, the rear three single seats on the left can be equipped with the innovative KAHIR rail system (groove-and-glide principle) to accommodate KAFTBs (Kontor Air Freight Trolley Boxes). For rear cargo loading, the aircraft features a large freight door alongside designated secure attachment points for two additional KAFTBs in the aft compartment.
